Field of Vision (“FOV”) builds accessibility technology that helps blind and low-vision fans follow live sports. We design our iOS app to collect no personal data.
What the iOS app collects
Nothing. The FOV iOS app does not collect, track, or share personal information. We do not use analytics, advertising identifiers, or third-party SDKs for tracking.
On-device processing
- Bluetooth & NFC are used only to connect your phone to your FOV device. Nearby device IDs and tag data are processed in memory to establish a connection and are not uploaded to FOV.
- Audio is generated on-device to provide spatial guidance during a match. No microphone access is required.
- Network connections stream live ball-position data from FOV servers to your device. We do not attach this to your identity.
What the website collects
Our website (fov.ie and subdomains) may record standard server logs (e.g., IP address, browser type, basic request information) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify you or for advertising.
Children’s privacy
Our products are designed for general audiences and do not target children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your choices
- You can use the app without creating an account or providing personal details.
- You may disable Bluetooth/NFC in system settings, though core functionality may be limited.
